US News and World Report, have recently announced the list of the best universities in Canada. The list was complied from the QS World University Rankings, which identified the world's top universities overall in 2009.

The top Canadian university according to the list was McGill University who had an academic peer review score of 100 out of 100. The peer review score is the ranking students give for the university and the overall quality of subjects and courses.

The McGill University also received an employer review score of 97 and an international students score of 95. These two scores can be helpful for potential students who prefer a university with a good track record, friendly environment that welcomes international students and a great learning environments with teachers who are passionate at their job.
